Our History
Mountlake Terrace Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational church that is traditional in function and worship. We have served the Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds neighborhoods since 1947.
MLTCC is one of a group of congregations both in the U.S. and around the world that are part of what is known as the restoration movement. This movement came into being at the beginning of the 19th century. Thomas Campbell, Alexander Campbell, Barton Stone, Walter Scott, and "Raccoon" John Smith were among the early leaders who sought to unite all Christians on the basis of the New Testament for the evangelization of the world.
These men acknowledged the New Testament as the only authoritative rule of faith and practice for Christians. They renounced all human creeds as binding upon Christians. They sought to restore the New Testament Church with its ordinances and life. Their goal was the evangelization of the world to Christ. That's our goal and we hope that is your goal, too. Come join us.
We are led by our Minister, Pastor Ron Guzman, and meet every week for prayer, singing, and teaching on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m.
